Pastor Troy and Kara Riggs
Pastor Troy and Kara Riggs
Troy Riggs began leading Bible Studies when he was 16 years of age. Since then, he has led many study groups, spoken at churches, and served as deacon for two churches. His service also includes being a Christian Seminary and College board member for over 10 years.
Troy retired in 2021 after more than 30 years of government service. His career includes roles as the Public Safety Director in Denver, CO; the Public Safety Director and Chief of Police in Indianapolis, IN; and the Police Chief and Assistant City Manager in Corpus Christi, TX. Additionally, he has worked as a member of the C-suite for a rapidly growing private business and established four non-profit foundations during his years of service.
While always involved in ministry, Troy felt God's call to serve as Pastor of a church in Texas. This calling led him to Bridgeway Church to assist Senior Pastor Ely Perez.
Troy is married to Kara, and they have two sons, David (daughter-in-law Krystyn) and Caleb.
Pastor Juno and Shelly Garcia
Pastor Juno and Shelly Garcia
Juno and Shelly have served in ministry for over 10 years. Juno has been a student pastor, children's pastor and campus pastor with his wife Shelly helping alongside him every step of the way. They have a heart for young people and realize the importance of introducing Jesus to the next generation.
Both Juno and Shelly came to know Christ at an early age and grew up in church with strong youth ministries. Their desire is to give that same experience to the youth of Bridgeway Church.
Mark 10:45 - For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.
Marina Perez
Inspire Women’s Director
Marina Perez is the wife of Pastor Ely Perez, she has served in ministry over 30 years. Marina served alongside with her husband for 16 years at Family First Church, Corpus Christi.
She has been a part of several praise and worship teams for over 30 years. Alongside Pastor Ely and currently Bridgeway Praise and Worship team.
Currently serving at Bridgeway for 4 years as director of Inspire Women of Bridgeway Church. Marina has a great passion for women and to extend God’s grace and mercy. Through Inspire Women of Bridgeway we strive to connect women together and to grow deeper in Love with the Lord through the searching of the scriptures.
And let's consider how to encourage one another in love and good deeds, not abandoning our own meeting together, as is the habit of some people, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near. Hebrews 10:24-25
Joshua and Kadie Lopez
Media Director/Music Director
As Music Director and Media Director at Bridgeway Church, Joshua blends a love for worship with a passion for technology. He leads the music ministry, guiding the worship team to create inspiring, Christ-centered experiences, while also overseeing the church’s media efforts to enhance services through live streaming, sound, and video. Joshua is committed to using both music and media to engage and uplift the congregation.

Our life of serving our Lord began 12 years ago at a local outreach Church where we learned the real meaning of being the hands and feet of Jesus. With sincere hearts, we are thankful to direct and serve the children and families of Bridgeway Church.
Our goal is for kids to know, love and live for Jesus.
